About Me

Hello! I’m Kelly, the heart behind Kelly’s K-9 Care LLC. As a lifelong animal enthusiast and a proud graduate with a degree in Criminal Justice, I’ve transformed my passion for pets into a dedicated career in pet care.

Growing up surrounded by animals, I’ve shared my life with a variety of pets, including two golden retrievers, a pit mix, a cat, and previously, a Wheaton Terrier, Great Danes, a horse, and even small critters like hamsters and hedgehogs. This diverse experience has instilled in me a deep understanding of animal behavior and needs.

Professionally, I’ve been pet sitting for numerous families, sometimes caring for up to eight dogs simultaneously. My background includes working at a local kennel and extensive experience with farm animals, thanks to over five years of leasing horses and managing barn chores. I’ve also completed several animal care and management courses through Cazenovia High School’s agriculture department.

At Kelly’s K-9 Care, I offer in-home pet sitting services tailored to your pet’s unique needs. From daily exercise and feeding routines to administering medications and ensuring their comfort, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Fully insured and equipped with reliable transportation, I’m prepared to handle any situation, including emergency vet visits.
